My Oldest Dog She came home one day over 16 years ago in my mom's purse. She was a sick and tiny chihuahua/toy fox terrier mix. She has survived many things. She was run over a by bike. She was clipped be a car. She was attacked by another dog. They had to remove her leg. And she has survived many cold winters. Though it all she's always been by my side. I love my old lady dog.
Stories have been told new and old, for decades and centuries, from culture to culture, about dogs. The Call of the Wild has become a classic that came to be from "Honest Stories of An Honest Dog." Yet stories sure as these are not the only source of literary inspiration. Poems, songs, and even dance routines have artistically expressed details about a dog that have made us love such the pawed pooch species.
