What are Nephilim:

Shadowhunters, also known as Nephilim, are a secretive race of beings who are Humans born with Angel blood. They have fought Demons and lived alongside Downworlders in the Shadow World for well over a thousand years, creating their own culture and civilization within human society. History: Growing up in the institute from a young age Demetri learned the way of his people. He met Aquarius when he was  at the young age of 5. The two became inseperable and stayed together constantly. Tessa and Will knew they were meant to be Parabatai and sat the two down to talk to them. Demetri already being protective of Aquarius agreed instantly. Aquarius on the other hand was a little reluctant due tohaving a small crush on him, but finally agreed. Her and Benji were inseparable until one day they were sent on a mission to save some mundanes from wolves who had just turned still unsure of what to do which is dangerous to themselves and others. Clarity and Benji began to fight them off but it was a set up and fury was around and tried to grab Clarity only for Benji to push her out of the way at the last second he tried to fight of the fury but it killed him. Slowly after that night, he continued to take advantage of her and abuse her, mainly physically. Finally, when she was sixteen, her boyfriend brought his friends over and they began to harass her, thinking no one was home. When Jasper walked in and saw, he shifted into a wolf and attacked the guys, her boyfriend included. Despite the terrible things that had happened, she still believed she loved him and pleaded Jasper to not kill them. Jasper, realizing what had happened, took Ronnie and the skipped town, ended up here. They live in a small house in the woods now.

her eyes were blurred. She heard a noise - someone walking on the station's platform, it wasn't her sister. A man tried to grab her but she forced her way out of his grip, she ran into a nearby train which was resting there at the station.
She had closed the door and the man had left. Rosie was too young to understand that she shouldn't stay on the train - because  it may begin moving, but she did. Rosie ell asleep on one of the train's seats. When Rosie woke up the train was
moving, fast. Rosie had tried to get off the train but she couldn't - the doors were all locked. It was a 24 hour journey, she survived on old food scraps left on the train's seats from the last passengers. When the train finally stopped
it was in a different part of India. She lived in that part of India for a few months, but she tried to find a means of transport that would take her back to her mother and sister. When Rosie arrived in the different country she continued to live homeless, she never was able to find her mom or her older sister again. History: Jinx was raised in a pack of werewolves where makes were seen as superior and females were considered low and almost as if they were property. Her mother had been killed when she was still young while trying to protect her and no one knew who her father was. Jinx grew up being surrounded by submissive and scared females and aggressive and dominant males, though that never stopped her from developing the personality she did.

From a young age, she did nothing but cause mischief and trouble, and always seemed to get away with it. As she got older and soon became a teenager, males not only seemed more interested in her and aggressive towards each other, but seemed more willing to put up with her mouthy attitude and troublemaking ways so she continued on with it. Once she was sixteen, the age when males fought over who 'won' the female, she began to keep to herself more, knowing exactly what it meant but hoping they'd forget, though they never did. At the end of the day, the alpha of the pack, a harsh and selfish man who cared only of himself and his power, won the fighting. At first he left her alone but soon he made advanced towards her, which she was bluntly rejected both verbally and physically if he tried to get close to her. He soon became fed up with her and slowly became abusive, physically and verbally. It wasn't until she was nineteen that she and a few other girls managed to sneak away and move out of the state to get away from him. After leaving, they all went their separate ways, Jinx coming here because it was so isolated, it helped clam her fear of her old alpha ever finding her.
