Aron was at the park with Udo, who took his rabbit form as he usually did. Aron wore a light jacket and didn't feel hot despite the warm weather. Aron walked Udo on a leash and harness Aron stopped to buy a Popsicle, whom he shared with the giant rabbit. As they were sitting the park bench, Aron rambled on and on and complaint about various topics. Eventually, Udo snatched the Popsicle by the stick and took off across the field in the park, munching on it for himself. Aron jumped up. "Udo!" He yelled, running after the grey Flemish Giant Rabbit. "Udo! Get back here! Udo!" Aron knew how silly he looked chasing after Udo, but, he wanted his Popsicle back. "UDO!"
Udo instantly noticed a stranger heading towards them with the they got close. Dropping the Popsicle, which as half eats and almost melted, Udo almost instinctive turn and and ran back towards his familiar sibling for comfort. The grey rabbit threw himself into Aron's chest. Aron scrambled to catch Udo when he collided with him, The force made him lose balance and fall on his back. Aron sat up, looking over to where Udo dropped the Popsicle with a frown. "My Popsicle.. You're such a pain sometimes, you know?" He grumbled, not noticing why Udo suddenly jumped at him.
The girl raised an eyebrow curiously, but was wary none the less. The Popsicle, she noticed, sat abandoned in the grass, its juice staining the green foliage. Upon seeing the large rabbit collide with the man, a partner of his, she assumed, Maria cocked her head. The brunette remained silent, calmly watching their reactions before speaking after a long pause. "You talk to the rabbit like it is human, why?
Aron looked up to see Maria, realizing Udo's concern. He stood up, holding the 25 pounds rabbit like a baby. "I talk to him a lot, so it just ended that way." Aron said with shrug. "He's smart , bunny though." Udo's ear twitched as he stared at Maria. He then looked around the park.
"Why? I don't know you. Frankly, I haven't even talked to you until now." She retorted, wary. Her attitude was that of a feral animal. She had to act like one to survive. Hiding her powers from the public was how she ensured she was safe, and if she needed to drive off everyone and anyone to do so, she would.
